BROKERS WALK THRU
When it comes to quality build and reputation it is very hard to beat the undeniable reputation of Boson Whaler. Very dry ride, outstanding performance, unsinkable hull, and unbeatable re-sale value all come into play when owning one of the very best in the business.
This boat features Re-Powered (2011) Twin 300 HP engines and Brand New Electronics in 2014. The boat also features Marine A/C and a marine Generator, but the generator will need a new starter.
Sellers have owned the boat since 2014 they are from Maine and only get to use the boat 1-2 months out of the year, The new owner will probably want to have the boat completely detailed as she does get dirty on the lift. there is also a cosmetic scrap on the starboard side about a 1/16th" wide and 4-5 inches long that should be an easy and inexpensive fix.
All Cushions (other than helm seating) interior and exterior are stored inside the house, I have not seen them yet, the house was locked up at the time of listing. But usually cushions stored inside are in very nice shape.
The sellers of the boat will be putting their house on the market soon and would like the boat sold before the house sells. So come get a look at the boat and if you like it put in a reasonable offer and this top-quality fishing machine can be yours!!!
POWER BOAT LISTINGS REVIEW
Part center console and part walkaround cabin, the Boston Whaler 28 Outrage (called the 290 Outrage in 2002–03) is a multipurpose fishing boat with a large cockpit and small cuddy cabin for overnighting or cruising. Wide walkways on both sides of the cabin make getting around the 28/290 easy, and a tall windshield offers good protection from wind and spray. With her cushioned forward seat and foldaway transom seat, the Outrage has seating space for the entire family. Below deck, the functional cabin — with near-standing headroom — sleeps three and features an enclosed standup head with electric toilet, rod storage locker, microwave, and refrigerator. Standard features include a factory hardtop with rod holders, molded bow pulpit, 30-gallon lighted livewell, two insulated in-deck fish boxes, deluxe helm seats with flip-up bolsters, anchor locker, bait prep station with sink, tackle drawers, fresh/raw-water washdowns, gunnel rod holders, transom rod holders, cockpit rod storage, trim tabs, and transom door. Like all Boston Whaler boats, the 28/290 is unsinkable. No lightweight, twin 225hp Mercury outboards top out at close to 40 knots.
